Bond Measures
Objective
Ensure that Eugene’s and Springfield’s local transportation bond measures are targeted to the most pressing needs and have majority voter approval.
Timeline
Eugene’s Street Repair Review Panel (SRRP) is charged with reviewing how current bond monies have been invested. With the approaching expiration of the previous bond measure, the SRRP is now working on a ballot measure to come before voters in November 2022.
The SRRP has held the following meetings:
- Meeting #1: Tuesday, December 14, 2021, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. (Video)
- Introductions, group process preferences (name facilitator for future meetings), review SRRP charge/mission, future meeting schedule
- Road Tour – While we cannot do the traditional group road tour, our staff will provide a visual presentation that shows similar information to the group. The story map will be distributed ahead of this first meeting and staff will be glad to answer questions during the meeting.
- Meeting #2: Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. (Video)
- Pavement Management Report
- Review Engineering’s 2021 report to the SRRP
- Discussion of the SRRP report to the City Manager
- Meeting #3: Tuesday, February 1, 2022, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
- Review of external auditor’s report
- Final review and approval of SRRP report to the City Manager
- Meeting #4: Thursday, March 3, 2022, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. (Video)

- Potential Bond Measure Discussion and Feedback
