On Monday, April 10, Better Eugene-Springfield Transportation (BEST) and AARP Oregon hosted the community for a roundtable conversation featuring Peter DeFazio, Lynn Peterson, and Jameson T. Auten discussing how to respond to transportation challenges and opportunities.

Community members are asking questions about MovingAhead: What is it? Who is behind it? What will it do? Who will pay for it? In response, BEST has assembled a frequently asked questions (FAQ) sheet presenting the facts and dispelling misconceptions.

EUGENE (May 26, 2022) — On May 5, Better Eugene-Springfield Transportation (BEST) invited the Lane Transit District (LTD) board of directors to introduce themselves to the public they represent and provide insight into the needs of LTD via an online questionnaire. Only one board member, vice-president Don Nordin from Cottage Grove, chose to do so.
