Steve Bade

Steve is a 15-plus-year resident of Eugene, and to try “to be the world you want to see” served two terms on the City’s Active Transportation Committee.  He holds a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science plus a certificate in Systems Analysis, and has volunteered and worked in and for libraries of all types over the last thirty years, including a corporate legal department law library, a theological library, the library at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, the California Digital Library, and he worked for a library software company for a time.  He volunteers at the Eugene ToolBox Project, the community’s non-profit sliding scale membership-based tool lending library.  Steve and his family leave home for recreation, errands, et cetera mostly on foot or by bike.
