Rosemary Betros

Policy Analysis Intern

Rosemary is a second-year master’s student in Community and Regional Planning at the University of Oregon. She bought her first adult-sized bike in 2018 with the intention of completing the Katy Trail in Missouri (which she did!). She had no idea all of the places that bike, and the experiences she had on it, would take her. Her love of bikes has continued to grow since then. It is what eventually led her to the field of community and regional planning, where she learned that bikes are a critical part of a healthy transportation system that includes safe, reliable, and efficient options for people walking, biking, rolling, and using public transit. Rosemary is excited for the opportunity to work with BEST and to help make the world a friendlier place for people traveling by active and public transportation modes.
