Part of May is Bike Month

If you liked Eugene Sunday Streets, you’ll love the fun, free, and kid-friendly Better Ways Block Party!
People of all ages and abilities are invited to engage with a variety of transportation exhibits, demonstrations, and activities, including a coloring contest and raffle.
University of Oregon students will set up a traffic garden. Eugene BRiGHT Parade will host a hat-making booth. Lane Council of Governments will give away May is Bike Month swag. Shift Community Cycles will host a bicycle repair pop up. And more!
Musical performances will include Still Thinking, Paul Prince, and DJ Cumulus. Or take a hayride on an e-trike with music!
For kids, there will be free face painting, a coloring contest, and a scavenger hunt, with prizes awarded.
Food will be available from various trucks. Eugene Tea Festival will offer free tea samples.
The Better Ways Block Party is presented by Better Eugene-Springfield Transportation (BEST). It is made possible with generous support from Oregon Department of Transportation, the City of Eugene, AARP Oregon, Lane Transit District, and Oregon Pacific Bank.
