Claire Roth

Claire Roth grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and was raised in a cycling family with a love for the outdoors. In college at Humboldt State University, she studied Environmental Studies and Journalism and gained an appreciation for all modes of travel, the intersection between transportation and the environment, and the need to foster healthy communication to arrive at a better future for all.

Claire began her position with BEST as Safe Streets Coordinator in September 2018, coordinating BEST’s advocacy efforts to enhance walking and biking safety in our community and also building partnerships with other local organizations in order to work together toward safer transportation. In October 2022, Claire moved into the position of Program Manager and manages all of BEST’s programs, outreach, engagement, and more.

Claire believes in equity and safety across all modes of transportation, whether you’re walking, biking, rolling, or driving.
