Volunteer Application Form
The Better Ways Block Party is a fun and engaging opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to learn more about safe, healthy, affordable, and clean ways to travel!
Help us make this new community event a success and fun for everyone by becoming a volunteer!
- Set-up Crew: From 12:00 to 1:00 pm, help BEST and other organizations get set up for the block party.
- Greeter: Help us greet people as they enter and leave the block party, handout flyers, schedules, maps, and scavenger hunt cards
- Photographer: Resume opportunity! Bring your camera and take pictures! Submit them to BEST and we will publish them on our webpage after the event and we would love to serve as a reference for the work.
- Journalist: Resume opportunity! Write an article or a review about the Better Ways Block Party, minimum 150 words, maximum 750 words. Submit it to BEST and we will publish them on our webpage after the event to show it off and would love to serve as a reference for the work.
- Clean-up Crew: From 5:00 to 6:00 pm, help BEST and other organizations clean up the plaza. No trash left behind!
Use the following form to apply to be a volunteer and tell us your preference for which role you would like to be in.
We will do our best to put you in your first or second choice. Please use the third choice if there is another role you would be willing to fill. You may also do multiple volunteer roles.
We will follow up with an email giving you your volunteer designation and more information closer to the event!
