2024 Better Ways Block Party: A Success!

Event organizers thank the community for attending this year’s event and invite you to make the Better Ways Block Party part of your springtime plans for years to come.

On Sunday, May 19, the community walked, biked, and rolled out to the Better Ways Block Party (full program) to learn about safe, healthy, affordable, and clean ways to travel.

With about 500 attendees at the height of the event and four hours’ worth of smiles, education, interactive booths, a scavenger hunt, demonstrations, local music, face painting, delicious food from local vendors, and more, event organizers would like to thank everyone who joined us at the first-ever Better Ways Block Party to make it a splash.

Event hosts BEST, AARP Oregon, and LiveMove at the University of Oregon invite the community to keep an eye out in the BEST Digest for next year’s save-the-date and to make the Better Ways Block Party a staple of your springtime plans!
